2:30-3:30pm: Introduction to Supersonics Piano Method Level Four (technique, repertoire choices and longer term teaching strategies to ensure continued student development)

I will include as part of each session:

  • Where the Quick Start series (for older beginners) sits in relation to the method
  • How supplementary pieces fit into the method
  • Approaches to incorporating theory and general musicianship
  • How to use the technology (the Supersonics Plus app)
  • How my pieces can be used for exams (with specific reference to AMEB, ANZCA and St Cecilia exams)

The Supersonics Piano Method is very flexible and teacher friendly and, although all the musical material referenced will be mine, the ideas and strategies can be incorporated into other teaching methods and styles.
